Parental Release Forms
Parents are now required to get and fill out a “Parental Transport Release
Form” to transport their children to and/or from a school sponsored event.
These forms then need to be signed by the event sponsor (usually Mr.Jordan
for the band) and by a school administrator, completed at least 24 hours
prior to the event and returned to the event sponsor.  Parents/guardians are
only allowed to transport their own child/children and cannot transport any
other participant.  Note:  this does not apply to the Wilson and Milne
practices!  Click here to get a copy of the form

Band Letter
The purpose of a band letter is to encourage and acknowledge “above and
beyond” accomplishments.  Because you are in band does not guarantee a
band letter.  A letter must be earned and it shows extra dedication and effort
above what is required for the regular band grades.  Letters and other
awards are given out at the annual Band Banquet held in May. Click below

Pageant of Bands (POB)
In addition to great competition with bands from around New Mexico, our
students have the opportunity to earn sizable monies in their individual band
accounts through the sale of ads for the POB program. POB publishes a large
magazine-style program which includes band information as well as many
ads. Each student receives 70% of the cost of each ad they sell.
